Temperature Snag Delayed 144,000 Moderna Shots Bound for Texas

144.000 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine which were intended to be delivered to Texas were delayed due to improper temperature exposure. The problem appeared to be with the temperature sensor attached to these shipments, which are distributed by McKesson. These delays in vaccine shipments are causes Texas’ vaccination number to be lower than expected. In other news, more doses of the Moderna vaccine had to be thrown out in a Wisconsin medical center after an employee intentionally left them out overnight.
