How it Works

Automated Monitoring and Compliance for Critical Healthcare and Life Science Environments

PharmaWatch™ Perfects Environmental Monitoring and Compliance For Critical Healthcare Needs

Our wireless technology is engineered and designed to monitor critical healthcare environments where surgeries are performed or sensitive biologics, tissues, vaccines, medications and other pharmaceuticals are stored.

The PharmaWatch Web Portal enables users to access (24/7) real-time and historical data, easily print audit-ready compliance reports, and receive alert notifications regarding environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, differential pressure and more. It alleviates the difficulties inherent in manually monitoring multiple healthcare environments in multiple locations while automatically maintaining complete regulatory compliance.

How Our Monitoring Solution Works

Step 1: You Have a Critical Environment to Monitor

Our devices can monitor a wide range of parameters include differential pressure, CO2, humidity, and temperatures from -200°C (-328°F) to 50°C (122°F). Applications include:

  • LN2 Tanks (-200°C/-328°F)
  • Ultra-Cold Freezers (-80°C/-112°F)
  • Standard Freezers (-30°C/-22°F)
  • Refrigerators (5°C/41°F)
  • Room Monitors (20°C/68°F +Humidity/Diff. Pressure)
  • Warmers (35°C/95°F)
  • Incubators (50°C/122°F +Humidity/CO2)
  • Dry Contact Monitoring

Step 2: Wireless + Plug & Play = Easy Installation

Once the probe is installed into the monitored environment and connected to the PharmaWatch™ Direct sensor radio, you are ready to go. Nothing more is required. The sensor radio is pre-configured to communicate with the PharmaWatch™ Portal via the Cell Network using multi-carrier/multi-bandwidth cellular communication without any further configuration or changes. It’s that simple.

Step 3: Data is Encrypted and Completely Secure

Data transmission from the sensor radio to the PharmaWatch™ Portal is encrypted and secure. The digitally transmitted data cannot be modified or altered. Upon ingestion, the data is stored with encryption keys that prevent any data from being altered. Similar technology is used in the banking industry to protect data.

Step 4: Login to the Web Portal to View Data, Manage Users and Customize the Alerts.

Logging in is password protected. The various levels of access allows basic users to check-in, view status, process alerts and print reports. Only Administrators or Managers have the ability to see who is using the tool, add or change Users and Alert Contacts, or even assess the timeliness of answering and properly documenting the alerts.
